San Diego Heat Wave!
So this heat is making it really difficult for me to workout! Not only do I feel hot, lazy, and gross BUT it's so hot that when I do try to workout, I get burned out quick! Attempted a two mile walk this morning with my son and that was almost a fail. All he wanted to do was get out and play, so I ended up having to stop twice and let him out. Although, I did burn 200 calories. Then my afternoon workout had to be short and sweet because of the heat. My garage must have been at least 100 degrees! I did a quick routine of squat jumps, push-ups, knee highs, burpees, lungs, squats, and a 60 second wall sit (three times though). I was exhausted and sweaty!! I would say I earned myself a Shakeology milkshake!! I made myself a vanilla, almond butter shake and drank it nice and slow!! Anyone else feeling down about this heat??
